OCD Intensives

When once-a-week therapy isn’t enough, make more time for focused OCD treatment.

For people seeking more concentrated support and a focused pace of work toward their goals.

How it works

A thoughtful first step. A focused treatment day.

An intensive begins with an assessment of whether this format is appropriate for you. Julie offers intensives specifically for OCD.

  1. A separate 90-minute intake

Start with a 90-minute intake to assess whether an OCD intensive is a suitable level of support. This appointment takes place on a separate day, before the intensive treatment session.

  2. Approximately four hours of treatment

If an intensive is appropriate, the next step is a day treatment session with approximately four hours of intensive OCD treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Breaks are included between periods of treatment.

  3. In person or virtually

Intensives can be done in person or virtually. Contact Julie to discuss the format and current availability.

Finding the right fit

More time for the work that matters to you.

If weekly sessions feel like too little support, an intensive offers a more concentrated format. Wanting to make progress sooner is understandable. The intake helps establish whether this approach is appropriate for your needs, rather than assuming that more hours are always the right answer.

Progress and pace vary from person to person. Reach out to discuss what you are looking for and whether an OCD intensive may be a good fit.
